Peabody Engineering offers a wide range of choices in Air Operated Double Diaphragm pumps. Available from 1/4" to 3" sizes and flow rates from 4 to 262 gallons per minute, these pumps are an excellent choice for most pumping applications from the simplest to the most demanding.
Diaphragm pumps are used for everything from circulating fluids in cleanroom applications to municipal sludge pumping. Our diaphragm pumps are shear sensitive and keep foaming to a minimum by using two pump chambers which reduce velocity in the pump. The absence of close fitting parts allows solids to pass through the pump without harm. Abrasive and viscous fluids are pumped easily without damaging fluid characteristics. The pump can run dry, self-prime and "deadhead" without damage in a wide variety of process and waste applications. Flow rates and pressures are easily varied by simply adjusting the air supply and pressure or throttling the discharge flow with a valve.
Peabody Engineering's diaphragm pumps can transfer hazardous liquids with ease. Air operation makes them intrinsically safe by design.
Considering the many benefits of our Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps, they are a natural choice to optimize the effectiveness of your liquid process system while reducing capital outlay and maintenance costs.
Peabody Engineering also carries Surge suppressors, air filters and regulators, valves, strainers, hose and other accessories to help you complete your system.
Be sure to handle all liquids with care and proper training. Face mask, goggles, gloves, boots, aprons and fire-retardant or acid-proof coveralls or smocks will help prevent or greatly reduce the risk of bodily injury.
